Traditional Chinese Flower Arrangement
——Capture the Autumn Colors of Plants and Nurture Elegance on the Desk
Course Introduction
Traditional Chinese flower arrangement embodies the wisdom of the Chinese philosophy "harmony between man and nature". For scholars, every step—from choosing water, selecting and matching flowers, arranging their postures, decorating the living environment to interacting with guests—conveys emotions and aspirations. It fully reflects the inner spiritual world of scholars, showing how they perceive mountains, rivers, the sun, the moon, and the changes of seasons, as well as how they position themselves amid the hustle and bustle of the world. By learning traditional flower arrangement, you can quietly comprehend the traditional way, re-examine your inner self through understanding plants. Every flower is a world; in the process of flower arrangement, you can practice self-cultivation and gain inner clarity and agility.
