On July 18, 2025, the second lesson of the "AI Summer Camp" course series was held by Daxia College, with the topic of "WPS AI Paper Formatting: Problem Resolution and Function Applications". Hosted by Zhan Song, the Teaching Tutor of Daxia, this lesson invited Zhang Fengming, an official lecturer of WPS from Kingsoft Office to deliverthe lecture.
Zhang addressed four common problems in paper writing and provided solutions combined with WPS AI functions. In efficient literature processing, he demonstrated the "full-text summary", "document Q&A" and "document mind map" functions, which can quickly generate structured abstracts, answer questions accurately and sort out logical frameworks.
In terms of intelligent paper formatting, "AI one-click formatting" can automatically match school templates or learn new sample essays to set formats with one click. For content optimization and plagiarism reduction, the "AI polishing", "expansion", "abbreviation" and "synonym replacement" functions can optimize language, supplement basis, simplify content and reduce the plagiarism rate. In document security and collaboration, he recommended "cloud synchronization" and "scheduled backup" to prevent loss, and "online comments" to support real-time annotations and trace modifications.
Finally, Zhang emphasized that AI is an auxiliary tool, and encouraged students to join the technical service group to obtain resources and complete practical tasks.
