Course Requirements:
① Independent Service: All four courses adopt the student self-operation mode. Students who are willing and capable of participating in course operation (especially course content design) will be given priority in course selection;
② Systematic Learning: The four courses have the same mode but different contents. Each course will include 15 Chinese students and 15 international students;
③ Single Course Selection: The four courses all belong to the "Cultural Integration" module as a part of the "Once Cultivation" courses. Each student can choose only one of the four courses per semester;
④ Group Learning: The courses encourage group learning. Students who register in dormitory units will be given priority in course selection (when signing up in the online system, you can write down the names of your roommates who register together in the reasons for applying).
Course 1
Study Life at ECNU: Learning
Introduction: It centers on the academic experience at ECNU, focusing on telling the most touching people and events at the university. It adopts a Chinese-English bilingual communication mode and lasts for 70 minutes.

Ice-Breaking: My Connection with ECNU
Group Discussion: Talking about Academic Experiences at ECNU (the proudest, the hardest, the happiest, and the most daily ones)
Presentation: Sharing Personal Academic Plans and Prospects

Course 2
Poetry Masterpieces Appreciation: Reading
Introduction: It revolves around one's reading experience, focusing on talking about a favorite book or the viewpoints in a book that have a profound impact on oneself. It adopts a Chinese-English bilingual communication mode and lasts for 70 minutes.

Course Sessions:
Ice-Breaking: Briefly Introducing Your Favorite Poem/Poet
Group Discussion: Each member of the group leads the reading and appreciates a passage of beautiful poetry
Presentation: The group shares and collectively reads a short poem aloud

Journey Around the World: Traveling
Introduction: It centers on one's travel experiences, feelings, and impressions, focusing on talking about interesting, unforgettable, and unique destinations during the journey. It adopts a Chinese-English bilingual communication mode and lasts for 70 minutes.

Course Sessions:
Ice-Breaking: Prepare a world map and mark one's own country/city on the map
Group Discussion: Talking about the destination you have been to or plan to go to, as well as the local food, scenic spots, culture, and historical stories
Presentation: Sharing a travel guide of a place

Love of the Hometown: Culture
Introduction: It focuses on the customs of one's hometown, highlighting the most representative festivals and their costumes and cultural connotations. It adopts a Chinese-English bilingual communication mode and lasts for 70 minutes.

Ice-Breaking: Providing keywords as clues for everyone to guess which city one is from
Group Discussion: Talking about the hometown customs and stories
Presentation: Group representatives share the customs and traditions of their respective hometowns
