•Venue: Room 102-3, Student Activity Center, Putuo Campus

•Lecturer: Wu Jin, University Librarian

•Content Highlights:

Address core points in literature research:

◦Low-precision retrieval: Difficulty in keyword selection, irrelevant results, or missed key studies

◦Inefficient screening: Time-consuming manual review of massive literature

◦Troubles in context combing: Hard to construct citation networks or track cutting-edge trends

Learn AI tools (e.g., Metta, Scopus AI) through case demonstrations to:

◦Achieve precise literature retrieval

◦Screen core literature efficiently

◦Sort out research contexts and track frontiers

◦Reconstruct the entire literature processing workflow

Micro-Course 2: For the Glory of Human Intelligence—A Discussion on College Mathematics Learning

•Time: December 3, 13:30-15:00

•Venue: Lecture Hall 2F, Library, Putuo Campus

•Speaker: Wang Weike

◦Distinguished Professor, School of Mathematical Sciences, Shanghai Jiao Tong University

◦Executive Vice President, Natural Science Research Institute

◦Supervisor of Shanghai Industrial and Applied Mathematics Society

◦Co-editor-in-chief of international journal "Communications on Pure and Applied Analysis"

◦Winner of Shanghai Natural Science First-Class Award

◦Lecturer of national top-quality online course "Journey of Mathematics"

•Content Highlights:

Explore the abstract nature of mathematics and its role as the underlying logic of AI. Trace the historical evolution of mathematical concepts and ideas, understand the charm of mathematical abstraction, and discover the wonders of calculus—helping students improve math learning and develop mathematical thinking.
